Duke really hit the jackpot. He just loves kids and he has 2 to play with. He loves to play frisbee and now he gets to play every day! His pictures don't do him justice, he's a beautiful dog. He was relinquished to rescue with his brother Darby, above. 0500

04/01/05 Duke has such a personality now, after all these years we've had him! We've taught him so many new tricks. Some really cool, and some... annoying ones. But all in all, we love Duke and we're so glad we have him!

12/03/2006 We taught Duke how to beg a while ago. We tell him "gimee paws!" We also taught him how to speak quietly on demand by saying "shh." or "say please!"

Since Duke doesn't have any REAL sheep around here, he loves his squeeky!

Dukes pictures definately do him justice now! He's a beautiful and wonderf= ul dog!

Riley

12/09/2007 My name is Jackie Reinhart and I adopted Riley July 8th, 2000. When we adopted Riley we lived in Taylor, MI but 6 months ago we moved to Atlanta, MI. and now have some acreage. Riley is a wonderful dog and has adjusted well to the move (he's just not a city dog). His sister Maggie is a Shepherd/ Husky mix who was also adopted. I am attaching 2 pictures of Riley, One is his first day with us and the other taken this past summer. I want to thank you for this wonderful boy, I'm feel so lucky to have him.

X Lucy was dropped off at the GLBCR annual picnic in 2000 by her first owners, a family with four young kids who probably had no idea what they were getting into when they bought that adorable black & white puppy. Lucy's future mom & dad were at the picnic and got to see her that first day she came into the GLBCR family. After spending some time with "Aunt Patty" and crew, Lucy was ready to join her forever family where she currently spends her days running with dad, chasing balls at the park with Mom, and keeping her three cats under control and headed in the right directions. 0800

X Floss had quite a time finding just the right home. She's now the sister of Hanna, another of our rescued kids. She will be learning agility, has a whole pack of doggies to pester and she has some sheep at her new home to herd. 0700

8/25/2005 Floss is just about the happiest, squirreliest little dog you will ever meet. I truly love this wiggly little B.C. She is ball crazy, loves the little pool she has in the yard, and just loves to stalk her sister, Hanna. She and Hanna are so different, but they are both so wonderful in their own way. Floss and the rest of us walk every morning for a mile or so on the trails behind our house. She just loves these walks, but is always checking in to make sure that I am still coming along. I think Floss is very happy with us, and that makes me very happy and lucky to have her in my life. Thanks GLBCR for the second wonderful dog you have matched me with!!

X Misty is now living on a 40-acre farm with an adoring mom and dad, 4 kids & a collie sister to play plus all the chickens you can chase in a lifetime. About as close to heaven as a bc can get don't you think? From her new family: "Our little girl jumped like a wild woman; she's finally getting the hang of agility, and hopefully this year she won't jump directly up the judge's nose and knock her over with loving kisses. Misty sleeps with her girl each and every night and rides in the car whenever the weather allows and runs the hayfields daily." 0800
