Teddy (-Bear) is the official mascot for Autbar in Ann Arbor, MI. "In agility class last week Teddy went wild at one point....you know....that embarrassing moment when your dog runs around the facility like the Tasmanian devil. Fortunately it happens with (nearly) every dog once in a while, so other folks are understanding.

When you heard Teddy was taking agility, you said...."yeah, but who is going to tell Teddy he has to through things instead of OVER them". You guessed it....during his little rampage he leapt OVER the tunnel.....then turned around and went over it again.

I enclose a picture of Teddy and Tchotchke on the shores of Lake Huron (near Rogers City) about a month ago....they had been racing up and down the beach, exhausted and happy. 0101

Kobi at the beach

Kobi is an adorable little girl who was dumped at the pound with her sister Gracie but was lucky enough to escape the worst of the Parvo. She got lucky and has a nice home near Ann Arbor, MI with a brother and a family who gives her lots of exercise while trying not to let her run the house."Kobi (formerly Blue) at the beach and with her "big brother", Taz. Taz has an eye disorder called Panus (spelling?) so we got him "doggles" which Kobi occasionally wears (when she feels like it!). Kobi has become a loveable/affectionate and very active dog and is a great addition to our household." 0101

X MacGuyver is a 3 year old boy that belonged to a farmer who became ill. An angel rescued them but could only keep one. He went thru heartworm treatment, and lots of learning. And now he has this nice boy to sleep with and call his own! MacGuyver was a true rescue. 0301

X Maya came from the Ionia County Animal Shelter, she was turned in because her family came on some hard times and could no longer keep her. She got a great home and is going to be learning all kinds of new things. Happy, lucky little girl! 0401

Gracie should be called Amazing Grace, for surviving a bout with Parvo. It was a long week for her during which her foster mom visited her every day at the vet, where she was in isolation for 11 days! She's doing fine now, and has the sassiest little way of talking back to you with a "Roo, roo, roo!" Grace is now with a wonderful family in a suburb north of Chicago with her English Shepherd mom, and two Standard Poodle grandparents. 0201
