| BACK |
| Meet Jay & Kristie Davis and the wonderful animals they live with. Thomas is a 10 year old domestic long hair cat and Taylor is a 10 year old blue merle Australian Shepard both originally from Colorado. Sadie is a 2 year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever from the Indy area, and Brindi is a 1 year old Border Collie mix adopted from Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue out of Michigan. Alley is an 8 week old long hair cat adopted from “From the Heart Rescue” and is the newest member of our family. | |

Sadie is the one who got us started in playing with the disc and led me to look for someone to teach me how to play since she had her part already figured out. I found the Indy Dog & Disc club at the Pet Fest event held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and thought they were just awesome. Soon after meeting them I was attending the weekly training sessions. Our first event was a little over a year ago. Sadie and I just love to play. Brindi is still learning how to play. She is a little shy at competitions, but is a Frisbee star in our backyard. She is so much fun to work with. After seeing what a great job Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue do with placing dogs in the “right” environment I decided to volunteer with them. I haven't done too much volunteering yet, but I look forward to being able to help out more. |
