Sarah Beth

Sarah Beth

Sarah has been with me for approximately a week and a half now and is looking dramatically improved after a trip to the vet and skin testing. She will not be available for a little while until I get her looking and feeling good. She is under veterinary care to get to the root of the skin condition to eliminate or reduce the discomfort this creates for her although her fur is now shining and soft with the brushings she is receiving daily. She has earned outdoor privileges although with the wet weather in the country, she's quite happy to take her little Princess feet back inside to dry ground. Sarah likes to play a little bit and I'm hoping that as her health improves, so will her interest in playing more. Every day sees her sweet little tail wagging more and her eyes looking healthier and happier. Sarah's incoming weight to the shelter was 31 lbs. and she weighed in at 37 lbs. three days ago. She could use about another 5-10 lbs. to be her ideal weight. I will be able to get a better idea of her ideal home as she feels better and I get to know her more. Updates will be coming…

Ten facts about Sarah Beth:

  1. Doesn't like to get her feet dirty, actually jumps water puddles and walks on my landscaping bricks to go around the mud in the path.
  2. Loves carrots! These are her favorite treat! Although she takes all treats well…
  3. Totally house trained
  4. Very good recall
  5. Settles down well in the house, gets along with other dogs and cat.
  6. Is very “go with the flow”
  7. Loves car rides, will go with anyone and rides well
  8. Circles three times before snuggling into the dog bed
  9. Prefers “snuggler” style dog beds to the “lay on top” bed
