So You Think You Want A Border Collie?

Adopting a Border Collie isn't just owning a dog, it's adapting to a whole new lifestyle. The breed's intelligence is a double edged sword because they need a job to do, and they need training. They aren't all good with young children because of their strong herding instincts. Seriously consider what you want from your dog - a companion, or a very active member of your family. Do your future dog a favor, do your homework and decide whether you want to change your life for a dog or not.
