Rain

1 year old female

Rain is a sweet, smart, friendly and very energetic little girl. She weighs just 30 pounds and is a little over a year old. She loves to play tug and chase balls. She very much enjoys playing with other dogs (and people too) and will outlast most of them. She is very trainable and picks up hand signals quickly. She is housebroken, crate trained and usually well behaved around the house. Normally she'll follow the crowd into whatever room has the most going on. She's a great running companion and, with some dedication, doggie sports might be possible too.

Despite her large ears Rain happens to be deaf but you'll almost swear she can hear. Don't even think that she needs pity. Her lack of hearing doesn't slow her down in the least and the only restriction is that she should be leashed when outside without a fence.

The ideal home for Rain will be someone who is home frequently, willing to train and uses only positive training methods. She's more energetic than many border collies so an active lifestyle and another friendly, playful dog in the house is very strongly recommended.
