Border Collie Rehoming Form

Please complete the following information to the best of your ability. All information provided is used solely for the purpose of determining how we might help the dog you are contacting us about. If you haven't done so already please read "Steps to Rehoming Your Border Collie" for help with the write up and the photos.

Please note: we are a not-for-profit organization whose costs far exceed our adoption fees. We, therefore, require a $150 donation for the relinquishment of your dog to our organization. If your dog is accepted into our foster program, he/she is cared for in our fosters' private homes until placement with an adoptive family, whether it takes a few weeks or many months. Once placed, we provide ongoing training and behavioral support for the life of the dog, as well as the promise to step in should the dog ever need to be relinquished again. We believe $150 is a small price for that peace of mind.

We also understand, however, that there may be extenuating financial circumstances. If that is the case, please do not hesitate to let us know.

*** We cannot process your request without photos. ***

Are you requesting a courtesy listing or foster space?

Please be aware that foster space is extremely limited and shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia are given priority over owner relinquishments. If your dog is approved for a foster spot in our rescue, it could take weeks or even months for the next space to open up.

All dogs, therefore, are listed on our Courtesy Listings/Other Available pages to allow them the opportunity to be adopted out while awaiting foster space.
