Tallis has healed wonderful and there is no slowing her down! This girl is the sweetest thing but she can also be very intense and driven. She has a lot of energy and loves running, playing ball, or tugging. Although Tally would rather be on the go, she’s also happy to entertain herself with toys or a chew until you’re ready for some cuddles. She’s guaranteed to make you laugh if you watch long enough; she has the goofiest personality!

Tally can get possessive over toys especially when excited. She will air snap and should be watched around children and other dogs. Her ideal home would have older or dog savvy children and she’d love to be an only dog. She plays and gets along well with her foster brother, but can be rude to him. Tally is friendly but intrusive in greeting other dogs which isn’t always welcome.

Tally is extremely smart, eager to please, and motivated. She picks up new cues and patterns quickly and loves treats. She’ll also remind you if you’re not doing something fast enough or correctly. She has earned the nickname “loudmouth” both for her opinions and volume.

Tallis means "one who thrives" and this girl lives up to her name! Tallis (nickname Tally) came to us to recover from surgery following being hit by a car. She is getting around really well and nothing seems to slow her down. Tally puts her whole heart into life with big puppy enthusiasm, but still needs to be reminded that she is healing and rest is okay. She is still on restrictions of leash walking with no high impact activities like running, jumping and stairs. Her leg is healing nicely and she is doing good bearing weight on her leg. Most days you don't see much of a limp unless you are watching for it.

Tallis' femur bone is 2" shorter on her injured leg and she will likely have some arthritis from her injuries later down the road. She won't be a star athlete (don't tell her that) competing in the rings, but will be able to live a long fulfilling life. Tally would thrive in a family home where she can show you her big loving personality and snuggle up on the couch with a stuffy or chew.

Tallis loves playing with her foster brother and other neighbor dogs nearby. She has not met a dog she doesn't like and interacts appropriately with new dogs. Wrestling, tug, and "keep away" are the favorite games to play alone or with friends. She "talks" big when she plays or tries to engage others to play her game. Tally has not been introduced to a cat, but I doubt she would have issues living with a dog-savvy cat.

This girl has had quite the adventures already with camping, car rides, sports practices, kids, boat rides, etc and nothing seems to phase her. She is the right amount of curious and looking to her person for guidance in new situations.

Tally is still a pup and occasionally gets mouthy/nips when over excited, but is easily redirected. She is good with kids, but should still be supervised. She has not chewed on anything besides bones/toys in my home and will ask to go potty by sitting by the door. She is subtle, so it is easy to miss her cues if not paying attention.

She is SUPER smart and picks up on commands quickly and loves interacting with people. Tally loves cuddling up to people, giving kisses, and is happy to play with toys on her own when it's time to chill.

Totally not on the couch.
