Update: Estee was adopted in January, 2003. We've received the following updates:

1-14-03 Esteé a real good dog and a real sweetheart (she loves to cuddle and give kisses!). Housebreaking is going well, we've had a couple accidents but that's more our fault than hers. She's smart she's figured out if she goes potty outside she gets a treat when she comes in and she sits and waits for the treat.

7-27-03 Esteé is doing well. She's sassy and stubborn which makes training difficult, but for the most part she's pretty good. We're almost done with obedience training and on the days she wants to, she listens well. She is a barker, and a chewer though, but we're working on that.

2-1-05 Esteé loved to play with our cat when she first came to live with us. Buddha didn't appreciate being a chew toy though, so she learned to lay off. This summer, we brought home another kitten that doesn't mind being chewed on in the least, as long as she gets to snuggle with Estee's fluffy tail when she's done. Estee loved the new kitten and everything was peaceful until we had to move. The move was tough on our poor pooch, she hopped from her house, to our grandparents, to a new house with strange surroundings and new neighbor dogs. She didn't adapt well at first, and even took to aggressively chasing her old friends Buddha and Pixie around the house. Then, just when we thought it was hopeless to have a peaceful house again, we finished fencing the yard. Estee LOVES being able to release all her pent up energy running, no, HOPPING around her big back yard. She has made friends with Klondike, the husky mutt next door, and is convincing us all she is a little bit sled dog. She loves all the snow, and every chance she gets is begging to go outside and play. It's so funny to watch her little fuzzy self leaping through the snow. We are glad she finally adapted to our new house and peace has returned. We will send updated photos of the spunky pooch soon.

2-24-05 She has turned out to be a great dog! She's been obedience trained through the advanced level and of course excelled. She's really smart, although a little sassy. We've just started agility training with her and she's loving it. We hope to start competing next year! We've recently moved into a smaller house but it has a huge fenced in back yard which she just loves to go out and run and chase squirrels and bunnies. She is quite the spoiled little fuzzy dog and we are so happy with her. Just wanted to give you and update and let you know how much we appreciate the part you played in her life and helping us find her :)
