Update: Hogan was adopted in 2004.
This good-natured senior gentlemen wound up at the shelter after being picked up as a stray. What makes it even worse was that Hogan was blind. Fortunately, it never got in the way of his happy demeaner. His incoming notes read: "Hogan doesn't see with his eyes. He sees with his heart."
Hogan was adopted by his foster home and spent his remaining years living the happy life of a farm dog.
