Foster Write-Up Moose is 60 pounds of fun and clowning around! He is a border collie/lab cross and has really gotten the best traits from both breeds. He would be perfect for someone looking for a dog with less energy than a typical border collie. He is very loving, energetic, playful, friendly, and tolerant. He is gentle with the cats and other dogs. When we come in from a walk, he plops down behind my desk and naps while I work on the computer. He is truly content just being around his family; he does not need the constant attention that some border collies require. He enjoys chewing on bones and pig's ears and occasionally playing with a squeaky toy.
He is still very much of a puppy at heart. He is housebroken and well-mannered in the house, but needs some work on walking on a leash and not jumping on people. He really wants to please though, and is learning basic commands quickly.
He would be a perfect family companion.
